Come discover the many ways you can connect, grow, and serve at Hillside!
Join us in the Commons following worship for finger foods, conversation, and an opportunity to explore the many ministries, groups, studies, and service opportunities available throughout our church.
Representatives from a variety of Hillside ministries will be available to welcome you, answer questions, and share more about how you can get involved. Whether you’re new to Hillside, looking to meet people and build friendships, hoping to grow deeper in your faith, or searching for a meaningful way to serve, the Ministry Fair is a great place to begin.
You’ll have the chance to walk around at your own pace, meet ministry leaders and volunteers, learn about upcoming opportunities, and discover places where your gifts and interests may fit. There’s no pressure to sign up for anything—just come, enjoy some food, ask questions, and see what’s happening at Hillside.

Monday, September 14 | 6–8 PM | The Parsonage
Newer to Hillside? Join us for a relaxed evening at the Parsonage, located on the hill behind the church, and enjoy good food, conversation, and a chance to get connected. This welcoming, informal gathering is a great opportunity to meet our pastoral staff and church leaders, learn more about Hillside, and ask any questions you may have.
Whether you’ve recently started attending, are looking to meet people and build friendships, or simply want to learn more about our church, the Newcomers Drop-In is a great place to begin. You’ll have the opportunity to introduce yourself, hear more about Hillside’s ministries and community, and discover ways to become more connected.
Come as you are—there’s no pressure, formal agenda, or expectation to sign up for anything. Just stop by when you can, enjoy some food, meet members of the Hillside community, and take time to get to know our church in a relaxed setting.
We’d love to welcome you, answer your questions, and help you feel more at home at Hillside. Please complete the registration below if you plan to attend so we can prepare enough food for everyone.
Life change happens in community. When we open God’s Word together, share our lives with one another, and walk through life’s up’s and down’s in community, we become more like Jesus. These bible studies, small groups, and ministries are designed to help you connect in meaningful relationships and grow in your walk with Jesus.
Our Youth Group is a vibrant collective of young people on fire for Jesus. Committed to becoming life-long followers of Jesus, our Youth Group meets weekly throughout the school year. Sunday nights we worship, hear a message, and play games. During the week we have Discipleship Nights - our small group designed to study the Word and allow it to transforms our hearts and lives in the context of community. Our Life Groups are more than Bible study—they’re places to share life, pray for one another, grow in faith, and live on mission together. We have a variety of groups ranging in age, life-stage, and meeting times to offer everyone a place to find community.
Our men's ministry is called Ironworks - its designed to see men connect with one another, read the Word together, and hold one another accountable so they can spiritually sharpen one another as iron sharpens iron. Ironworks meets at Hillside every other week.
Our O.W.L.S. ministry is our place of connection for Older Wiser Loving Saints. This vibrant and active community gathers every month for fellowship, encouragement, and spiritual growth.
Our Sunday School class meets each Sunday at 9:15 a.m. in the Commons. Led by our Pastors and Elders, this class is designed to deepen your knowledge of the Bible and put it into practice in community.
Our Wednesday night prayer gathering began with a group praying for family, friends, and co-workers who were far from God—our “longshots.” We’ve now seen many of these longshots find Jesus, broken bodies healed, and relationships restored. There’s power in prayer!
Join us Wednesday nights, 6:30–7:30 p.m., at the parsonage (on top of the hill) as we continue to pray for these longshots and other needs.
Our Women’s Ministry provides a place for women of all ages and life-stages to find community with other women, support for the unique challenges women face, and growth in their walk with Jesus. Our Women’s Ministry offers several Sunday School and Bible Study opportunities throughout the year. Click below to find out when we meet next.

Our Young Adults group meets on Tuesday nights at 6:30 p.m. at the parsonage (on top of the hill) for fellowship, Scripture study, and opportunities to serve together.
We believe that walking closely with Jesus changes our hearts to love the Church and love the Lost, just like Jesus. These teams and ministries are designed to help each follower of Jesus step into their God‑given gifts and find their place in His kingdom work, becoming the hands and feet of Jesus—bringing hope, love, and transformation to our church, our community, and our world.
Our cleaning team serves behind the scenes to keep the church building clean and ready for ministry, creating a space where our church and our community feel at home.
Our connections ministry helps every guest and member feel at home by offering a warm welcome, friendly greeting, and a fresh cup of coffee when we gather to worship.
Our deacon ministry cares for the sick and needy through home visits, prayer, and practical support, extending Christ’s love to those in need.
Our Fellowship Meal Team creates a welcoming space each Sunday over lunch through meal preparation and service, helping our church family connect in meaningful ways.
Our Kids Ministry Team invests in the next generation, creating safe, engaging spaces where children and can encounter God, grow in faith, and build lasting community.
Our mowing team keeps the church grounds and flower beds well-maintained and welcoming for everyone who comes to Hillside.
Our prayer team comes alongside others in prayer, lifting up needs, seeking God’s presence, and helping our church respond to God’s leading in our worship gatherings.
Our Safety Team helps ensure a secure and caring environment for everyone at Hillside. They’re trained to respond calmly and effectively in emergencies, providing assistance and peace of mind so our church family can focus on worship and community.
Our Worship Ministry exists to lead our church family in lifting up Jesus through music and creative expression. Whether on the platform or behind the scenes, every role helps create an atmosphere where people can encounter God and respond to Him in worship.
