Worship at Hillside
Worship Arts Ministries
Scriptures are filled with instruction to sing praise to God, and Jesus sang hymns with his disciples. In fact, artistic expression is such an important part of everyday life that God commands us all to engage in it, whether as professionals or amateurs, with instruments and voices (Psalm 33, Eph. 5:19), and to do so with joy (Psalm 67:4), originality (Psalm 96:1), and intellect (I Cor. 14:15), making His praise glorious (Psalm 66:2).
Is there a place for everyone to be involved in worship at Hillside Chapel? Absolutely! Hillside Chapel includes the singing of hymns and worship songs at nearly every gathering - from worship services to youth meetings, retreats and community groups, and there are many support and behind the scenes service opportunities for all of the events.
Contact Tim Shafer, Minister of Worship Arts and Music at tshafer@hillsidecma.org to express interest or for more information on the many opportunities to serve in the Worship Arts.
